Liran Tal, Founder and CTO

Liran is 28 years old and married to his beloved soul-mate Tal. As an avid supporter of the open source community, he plays the role of leading developer for some projects and contributing code to many others. Some of his [geek] activities include programming, playing his guitar and even running The Hacker’s Choice BBS back in the pre-Internet days of ’95.

Liran is kupoya’s founder and technology developer. Passionate about creating software products, Liran combines his technical skills with an exquisite entrepreneurial spirit and business orientation to build successful ventures. He graduated cum laude in his Bachelor of Business and Information Systems Analysis studies at the Ono Academic College, Israel.


Roy Tertman, Co-Founder & CMO

Roy is 29 years old, living in Tel Aviv and happily married to Tamar, the pastry chef of Vaniglia ice creams, which together are about to open a Gelateria. In his free time, Roy is a pro Aggressive inline skater, although breaking a lot of bones. he also breathes technology, music and Star Wars. (he was actually the person you see with a costume at the premiers)

Roy has served as a consultant and trainer to global mobile telecommunications companies. His expertise is designing marketing and selling strategies for high-tech products and services. He provided technical training to all levels of the company, from engineers to sales persons. Roy has been a part of several online ventures since the age of 18, with eBay among them (promoting the early Israeli eBay scene and advising). Roy has studied Film and Screenwriting and is currently studying for his B.A. in Marketing and Management  at the Open University, Israel.

Ram Shallom, Co-Founder & CEO

Ram is 27 years old and engaged to be married with beautiful Lina. In 2009, Ram played a key role in two student movies and was even recognized as a film star during lunch in the local McDonald’s branch. In 2007 Ram won first place at the annual Carrom Board (sometimes referred to as Indian Finger Billiards) family tournament and has been trying to repeat his success ever since.

Ram was recently admitted to the MBA program of Kellogg School of Management after four years of leading strategic missions in a technological unit of IDF as a senior hardware developer and a system integrator. During his time in the technological unit, Ram became a professional in the field of creating innovations in crisis. Ram graduated magna cum laude in both his Bachelor and Master of Science studies at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
